What the h*!! does a 5 bedroom home need with NINE baths? The number of bedrooms plus 1/2 is the rational limit on the number of bathrooms.
If the house if big enough - and I imagine it is (afterall, only the best is good enough for Al and Tipper), you “need” 9 bathrooms so that you don't have to walk too far to find one. Also, I imagine that at least one bathroom is allotted to the servants’ quarters.
Either that or Algore is so full of crap that he needs at least 9 bathrooms.
