Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak has urged department heads and other city officials to cancel any pending official travel plans to Arizona in the wake of new immigration legislation in that state.
Rybak urged city officials to find alternate ways of accomplishing the same business ends without traveling to the state. Arizona law makes it a state crime to be in the country illegally and authorizes police officers to ask people for proof of citizenship and hand illegal immigrants over to federal enforcers.
“This is a terrible law, and I do not want any public dollars to be spent there,” Rybak said. “Furthermore, I am deeply concerned that this terrible policy could put our city employees who might be traveling there on official business at risk of being unlawfully racially profiled, detained or harmed.”

I’m do research now on the places I can visit in Arizona. It’s a magnificent state. Like ALL things beautiful, the liberals are determined to destroy it. As has been suggested, I woulddn’t even change a plane in Minnesota or California now. What in the h..l is wrong wtih these idiots?

What are the comments of people you know, if any, about the recent story in the Pioneer Press of the illegal immigrant who had about 4500 bucks taken from him by an FBI special strike force or some name like that and was awarded seventy thousand dollars!!! by the unit’s insurance group because his “rights” were violated. The story was front page on the Press thursday. The illegal immigrant’s lawyer said his fourth and fourteenth amendment rights were violated. I read the story shaking in anger. He’s an ILLEGAL!!! immigrant. He’s a criminal.
As far as I’m concerned, both the FBI and the illegal were criminals. What in god’s name is the FBI doing seizing people’s money, illegally here or legally here anyway?
