This blog’s hero of the week is Ken Cuccinelli. He’s the new Attorney General of Virginia and he’s about to launch quite possibly the most delicious and worthwhile law suit in the entire history of litigation: one that could result in Michael Mann – arch-climate-fear-promoter, comedy You Tube Star, creator of the infamous, twice-discredited Hockey Stick – being fined hundreds of thousands of dollars for alleged misuse of state grant funding. (Hat tip: Watts Up With That)
Though Mann now works at Penn State University – an institution which appears to share UEA’s principled belief that the best response to the skullduggery exposed in the Climategate emails is to whitewash, whitewash, whitewash – his Achilles heel is Virginia, where he worked from 1999 to 2005. This, of course, was the period in which Mann sent some of his juiciest Climategate emails.

This could be even worse for Penn State than Mann. Their ‘investigation’ and conclusion appears to have enabled criminality. It would make future grant funding as well as faculty recruitment really difficult if not impossible. (well, if we ever again get an Administration that’s honest and ethical)

Unfortunately, Cuccinelli is also the bufoon that wants to correct the’wardrobe malfunction’ on the Virginia state seal to cover up an exposed breast. I can think of little else that a politician can do to make himself look petty and foolish.
Seeing AlGore in jumpsuit orange would be such a beautiful sight. Even better would be him being seen in handcuffs as law enforcement leads him out of his new $9 million dollar house in Santa Barbara.
Would probably never be seen on CNN or MSNBC, though.
I hope Michael Mann does a lot of time. (Cause what he did what such a crime.)
