Where is he today ?

I can't remember if he was going to visit the gulf or going out to golf. Don't worry - the federal government will offer NO aid. Nashville ain't "chocolate" enough for the racist in chief.

True...We still have tornado watches and severe weather watches through Sunday but I think only 2 more inches of rain predicted. That could do quite a bit more damage. I told my parents to head back to Nashville because there’s no way to get Memphis unless they go to Alabama or something.

We have a tornado watch for the Chattanooga area. Haven’t had any rain to speak of yet, but the bad stuff is moving across the state - slowly. And, there’s plenty of moisture in the air.

I live 140 miles Southwest of Nashville on the Tenn/Miss line. We have had 11 inches of rain and four more tornado warnings...North of us it is worse. This system was predicted to be worse than last weekends system. We didn’t get an F-4 but lots of dangerous wind and rain. The weather has been training in a Northeasterly direction and is why Nashville has gotten swamped 3 hours after we got it.

I’m in Covington. We had at least 12” and it’s raining as I type.

I have lived in the Memphis area for 40 years, and have never seen this much rain in such a short period of time.

Al Gore supposedly lives in the area, or lived, not sure how up to date I am. I don’t follow him very closely. LOL!

Just outside of Smyrna, TN, heading toward Murfreesboro you get to drive over the Al Gore Jr. Bridge. It’s a horrible looking little deteriorating whitewashed two-lane bridge. I think Al used to be the local Congresscritter, the seat Bart Gordon is vacating, praise be to God.

“Boy, oh Boy! Could Nashville ever use some Global Warming.”

You’re obviously confused! Global warming caused this flooding as well as the dry weather where I live. It caused the weather to be so cold here on Tuesday that many people wore jackets all day and it will cause the ninety five degree weather that is forecast for tomorrow. It caused the oil rig to blow up in the gulf...or is the oil rig disaster causing global warming? Dangit now I am confused.

I’m in Brentwood. This flooding is serious. I have friends and co-workers who live in Smyrna and Murfreesboro. They had to work in Franklin and Cool Springs today. They can’t get home, so I’m having a sleepover until they can get home safely. We just heard that one person drowned when I-24 flooded.

Stay safe.

Weather channel is saying that in Corinth, Ms, many streets are flooded. I live in Corinth...no $41t......It is as bad of a flood event that I have ever seen...I believe I saw it just as bad once in Del Rio, Texas when hurricane Beulah came up the Rio Grande and flooded the area...this is just as bad...
