Specter still trashing Sestak over removal from Naval Cmmand

If last night's Democratic debate was any indication, Sen. Arlen Specter, D-Pa., plans to win by casting doubt upon his opponent's military career. Specter and Rep. Joe Sestak, D-Pa., met in their only official debate before the May 18 primary election:

Since he went this far, he should have asked Sestak why Sandy Burger made him the only congressional candidate receiving a contribution in 2006. Why did Sandy Burger consider it of prime importance to defeat Weldon, of Able Danger notoriety ?

I’ve read that Sestak was a well politically connected Admiral, but I don’t know that to be a fact. What I do know as a fact is that Specter is a nasty piece of work.

By not releasing his records, perhaps Sestak is standing on scottish law..

I heard from another Freeper on another post who watched the debate that Sestak never answered the “charge” Specter made against him. Might be some skeletons there.

I alluded to this on another thread. I believe that Toomey could defeat Specter more easily than he could defeat Sestak. But, I still want Sestak to win the Dem Primary; I WANT SPECTER OUT OF THE SENATE and I don’t want to take a chance on him winning in November.

There could be something to this, but I think Specter is being stupid. The last polls I saw showed Specter way ahead of Sestak in the primary race. Unless something has changed, why kick a dog when he’s down? He’ll surely need Sestak to help him out if he wins the primary. These are the type of charges that stick deep in the craw and I doubt Sestak will be in any mood to help Specter out. Then again, I could care less if he helps him out or not. I could care less if it’s true or not. Break out the popcorn!!!
