WASHINGTON The Supreme Court on Monday decided to let stand a ruling saying the Boy Scouts cannot lease city-owned parkland in San Diego because the group is a religious organization.
The high court refused to hear an appeal from San Diego-area Boy Scouts who have traditionally leased Balboa Park camp space.

Good, I guess this means that since I’m religious I don’t have to pay taxes to support these public buildings.

What do Americans have to do to take their country back from the politically correct bastards who toss the opinions and views of the overwhelming number of Americans out the window to pander to the ahrlots who run the ACLU and other demented fringe groups???????????????????
I’d LOVE to know how the SCOTUS kicked this out and what judges were responsible.

The Scouts have poured massive amounts of money into the Balboa Park facilities. I earned my swimming and lifesaving merit badges at the pool. This is a consequence of the attack by the gays in San Diego. I think the Scouts should sue the city of San Diego for the full value of all improvements over the lease period and use the proceeds to acquire private facilities for use by the Scouts. The city can redirect money they spend on gay pride parades and other gay specific programs to cover the award. The city can also pick up the full cost of maintaining the Balboa Park facilities as the Scouts terminate their responsibilities to care for the facility.

Who would have guessed 221 years ago (or 21 years ago) that anyone would interpret the Constitution as requiring active hostility by government toward religious faith and in particular toward Christianity?

Id LOVE to know how the SCOTUS kicked this out and what judges were responsible. I wonder if the SCOTUS ever saw the appeal. Their gay friendly staffers may have manipulated the case away from their view entirely. Much the way the birth certificate issues have been hidden away.

Freedom OF religion is not freedom FROM religion. For this decision to stand means that free speech (and freedom of beliefs) are not shared by all Americans.
A chill wind blows.

Okay you Boy Scouts and former Boy Scouts, gather your Hispanic Boy Scouts and Leaders together and write to the "Lady Judge Sotomayor" and put some pressure on her. After all, she said she would rule as a Hispanic/Latino and either she was in the minority here, or she's a typical Liberal Hypocrite.
You are the Boy Scouts who can appeal to her higher sense of pride and can make a difference in this situation.

Statistics I have seen say 2-3% of the general population is homosexual, yet they now control the courts and a lot of other institutions (education, for another). How did we let this happen? Trouble is, there is no turning back. Is God going to blame all of us who let this happen?

More intolerance, discrimination, and hate from the left.

It's simply really.
No one wants to serve on boards.
Knowing this, gays simply ran or sought appointment to various boards starting with the American Psychological Association. Once they got the majority on the board, they simply voted and declared themselves sane.
To: ilovesarah2012
About half of the San Diego City Council is gay, lesbian and strong sympathizers with the gay agenda. There are also judges in San Diego that are biased in favor of gays and against the Scouts. It is/was a no win situation. The corruption is yet another reason I had no second thoughts about selling my house in San Diego and moving to Idaho.
