Hey, look on the bright side. Dingell-berry is old....it’s only a matter of time before the communist old bastard assumes room temperature....when that happy day arrives, our liberties will be safe.
As for me, I have lots of seeds stockpiled. If everything falls apart, I’ll plant them and have a harvest. If Dingell-berry and his ilk don’t approve, ‘eff ‘em.

I have raised a garden for years, my parents raised a garden and my grandparents did too going back several generations.
No one, ad I mean NO ONE is going to stop me from raising the food I want to raise without imprisoning or killing me. Should it come to that, I will not be alone in my sacrifice to The State, this I swear.

According to the Dem mayor of Memphis gun crime is a health issue...don’t suppose that was a hint of gun confiscation to come under the guise of obamacare?

an In-N-Out in our little Central AZ hamlet...
Over T-giving, we were with family in Apache Junction, and made it a point to hit the big new one in Mesa........the only one we've ever been to is a very tiny one in Indio, CA - you have to have extremely good timing to even find a place to perch if you want to gobble 'em there.

I don’t mean to ignore the thread, or any of the great responses here. I’ve just been tied up since I posted this, and can’t get back to every post.
Thanks, everyone.

Is this the bill that also includes supplements and vitamins? No. That's a different abomination that (thankfully) failed to pass congress.

Ever notice how much of the legislation written by the left seems to benefit the small guy on the surface, but in practice it end up helping the big corporate types. Yep. Everything they do winds up growing government, at the expense of the freedoms and liberty of the common citizen.

They're attacking us from every angle, every day, it seems. There's only a fine line between political harassment and tyranny.

They better get all of the radical stuff passed before November... They may do that, but the next congress will either roll it all back, repeal it outright, or de-fund it to stop it.
There's going to be an interesting dynamic in Washington after November. I expect for Obama to end up holed up in the WH, sulking about his repossessed halo.

Backyard gardens could vanish if that became law. Or a lot of gov't drones could accidentally get shot for trespassing by alarmed home owners.

Its not an accident that there is a new assault on our liberties and values every day!!! They are trying to wear us down. I believe that there's a real intention among the inner circle of tyranny to do just that.
On the other hand, I think that a lot of this is part of the liberal orgy of radical legislation bursting forth, after having been denied for so long.

LOL!
Dark side for me....I live in Maine, with a short growing season. Homes around here, at least in northern Maine, have enough room for a garden, and many people are passionate about their vegetable gardens, in spite of the shorter growing season.

The day that someone arrives at my home to tell me that I cant have a garden is the day I go postal with great prejudice. You wouldn't be alone. Maybe the papers would call the backlash "going Mean Green".

The supplements and vitamins control bill is back.....
Democrap Waxman (Nostrils, Westside of L.A.), added it as an attachment to the Wall Street Reform bill. Time for us to contact Senator Hatch of Utah who helped kill the last attempt.

Oh, the horror! Actually, it is.
Ever seen a US gov't bureaucracy that was efficient, productive, and served the the interests of the public, while staying within budget, and delivering on its stated mission?
Or, perhaps you may have noticed that the exact opposite ALWAYS happens with gov't agencies?

...the overweight civil servant also cited my next door neighbor for growing corn and beans in their back yard garden, because those foods allegedly attract rats. Sounds like a local ordinance to me. You and your neighbors can get that overturned, if you work at it.
