Listen to the surprise in Luke Russert's voice as he reports that many African-American Republican candidates for congress are seeking support from the Tea Party. After all, says Luke, the Tea Party is a group that "a lot of folks have claimed to be racist against African-Americans."
Russert expressed his amazement on MSNBC this morning, discussing a New York Times article that reports that as many as 32 black Republicans are running for Congress.

Russert’s a racist.
"Luke! You're not your father!"
Go Allen West and Star Parker!
Check out www.princellasmith.com , too.
Sounds like Russert needs to be the target of a “some people say” attack.
Any suggestions?
You are totally correct that its Nepotism!
But Disgraceful is NOT in the NBC Lexicon!
After all, they already have Spittle Matthews, Olberdouche, Andrea Bitch Mitchell, and Rachel Madcow on board the NBC Hate Train! One more MORON is hardly noticeable!
What "lot of folks" are we talking about?
The DNC. The party of the race-obsessed. And journalism? Sadly, the last refuge of race-obsessed Democrats.
Russert uses the time-honored journalistic tradition of quoting his own opinion and attributing it to "some say".
For the record, conservatives, Repubs, tea-party folk don't care what color you are. If you agree with us, if you love God, love America, and believe in the constitution, you're one of us. Democrat race-mongers will say, if you're black and you are with us you aren't really black; if you're hispanic and you're with us you aren't really hispanic. Thats fine. If you are one of us, you're one of us. We claim one another.
Sure, but “Luke, some say you’re a journalist” would probably get me sued.
I heard that someone said that they read about an article quoting this person that his sister heard on the radio about a TV show where the main character said his brother heard on the phone that there was an email that the Tea Party was racist.
Why would any African American want to be part of THAT?
So now the Tea Party is racist? I hadn't heard that before. We need to call these people out in some way, because they are making baseless accusations just for the sake of smearing the Tea Party and the Right.
How about a LIAR! thread each day? Have a thread with the deliberate lies that people say, along with their picture, and the word LIAR! either stamped on the picture or posted underneath.
Let's start with this Luke Russert clown. Then Bloomberg. If anyone can think up a more fitting name than LIAR!, post it here.
Money quote.
They can’t think outside their little ideological template.
These companies advertise on NBC as it bashes conservatives and the Tea Party.

The entertainment and news industry is rampant with nepotism. Yet they pass judgment on everyone else’s business practices.
This bunghole nepotism recipient hails from Cleveland Park-an area of DC where the only blacks seen are domestic servants waitng for a bus to take them back to the ‘hood. You’ve got to work hard to find an all-white enclave in DC, but the Russerts, Cwissy Matthews, etc all live there-missing out on all the vibrant diversity that they push on hoi polloi.
Fluky Luke attended private schools with VIP kids-not Dc public schools-like his daddy-his black “friends” are either Vernon Jordan, Colin Powell, etc and other bigshots, or the beloved family maid, chauffeur, etc
Basically, he’s about the least qualified person in the world to run his yap about this-he’s like Meg-Ham McCain-divorced from reality.
Looks like he’s getting as fat as his dumbass dad, too.....
BTW-his daddy and Wolf Blitzer were the two stupidist contestants on Celebrity Jeopardy
You’re right, Tim Russert was never my favorite reporter but he was a cut or two above his son.
Luke Russert, a supposed journalist who is said by many on Free Republic to amount to less than a pimple on his not particularly distinguished father’s behind.
