FCC = Federal Communications Commission. That's really all you need to know.

It means that porn packets will get the same priority as your PowerPoint presentation packets.

It means that companies that used their own capital to build network infrastructure will not be allowed to decide for themselves what is the most effective and profitable use for their investment. The government will tell them what they can do.

It’s great that the government feels individuals and businesses and too stupid to determine how to best spend their time and money. No one needs to think for themselves anymore, the government will do all the thinking for us. And we know how much experience the Obama administration has in running private businesses.

My best guess is it will mean new taxes.

It means that the eeeeeevil corporations are going to randomly spit into your internet packets unless the ever heroic goverment steps into with tons of regulation, because when things are regulated the corporations can’t do their evil to you.

Or that’s what goverment wants us to believe, since this is the one place where can’t actually find a way to introduce regulation. For decades it has proven that it works really fine as it is.

The Supreme Court told the FCC to stop trying to regulate the Internet in this manner. So, the FCC goes, well, the Internet doesn't fall under those rules, so we'll regulate it under some other rules. This is Cass Sunstein, the Regulation Czar, and Mark Lloyd, the FCC Diversity Czar, using any means they can muster to shut down the Web as we have known it. The Web is KILLING their socialist agenda, and they must control that, or be doomed to fail in "transforming" our Republic into something else.

Power grab by NObama & the Czar shadow government to control/shut down the internet whenever they want to.

They fear our ability to communicate so quickly.
