Rep. Raul Grijalva (D-Ariz.), chairman of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, has urged a boycott of his own state.

He needs to be voted out of office. This is like the CEO of a company telling everyone to short the company's stock.

“The Service Employees International Union (SEIU) said its 2.2 million members will not attend any meetings or conventions in Arizona as long as the new immigration law is in place”

Good, Arizona is better off without you. Do you promise that you won’t come to Texas either if we enact a similar immigration law?

Nobody give a damn what the Socialist Employees Idiots Union does...they are an obama support group....period.

Watch everything they do. They use strong-arm tactics to takeover local union halls against the wishes of the local union members. It is much more than an Obama support group.

” The SEIU is Obama’s version of the Nazi S.A. Just watch how they will be used over the next few years...Brownshirt street thugs.”

Yup; as I’ve been saying for months, purple is the new brown.

Oh shoot, I thought it meant they were leaving the state. As a matter of fact, I think I’ll ask any SEIU employees why they’re still here when their union is boycotting the state.

In addition to any RICO lawsuit against SEIU I would like to see a lawsuit or action against the U.S. Attorney General for refusing to enforce the federal immigration laws in the first place.

It’s a childish rant that won’t have any effect on Arizona. What’s more, other states will probably follow suit. The truth is that no state can continue to afford ilegal’s drain on services.

Much as I despise the leadership of the SEIU, I am positive there are members who are hard-working guys and gals trying to make an honest living. Why take it out on them? I'd be willing to wager none of the rank and file in Arizona were consulted on this - they stand to lose their jobs if a boycott is effective. The legal-resident members of the SEIU in Arizona are probably silently cheering that some of the illegals who depress their wages are going to be cleared out.

Bullsh#t. I guess we are only supposed to hate Goebells, Himler and Hitler... but the men of the SS, SA and concentration camp guards were just "doing their job". They are punks, use violence and intimidation and need to be destroyed Every single one of them. They need to either quit, find another job or at least own up to the fact that they belong to an organization that is essentially a rent a mob with a work hobby.

As long as they KNOW that they're in rent a mob then I'm ok. But don't puss out and give them an excuse. People do what they have to do to support their families, I understand that. If they're cool with belonging to SEIU, then fine. But don't give them a pity party. They take their money and if it turns out to be blood money, it's on them.

Notice how the UNIONS and the government employees are the ones rioting in Greece. The US will make that look benign.

The police, the state police, the FBI, ATF, Soldiers all get their checks from the government. They will be the muscle behind the governments knock on the door to collect their taxes in order to fund their paychecks and feed their family. I haven't met too many officers or soldiers willing to give up their jobs because of a "deep abiding love" of conservatives or individuals. Do we see any union police officers refusing to harass Tea Party individuals or conservative protesters during "town hall" meetings.

All we need to remember is that a bunch of women, children and men were burned alive in Waco. The FBI bulldozed the evidence and tsk-tsk-tsk'd about it all being so "tragic", but "they did it to themselves". The ATF, FBI and Army units were all in a joint operation during Waco and if they want to do the same thing on a smaller scale, nobody will raise a finger. All they have to do is show up in the middle of the night, knock on the door, lay out all your "weapons", make up a story about "anti-government" violent attitudes and neighbors will just shake their heads and go on with their lives.

It's going to get real froggy in the US over the next couple of years, when the effects of the government medical takeover start showing up on businesses bottom lines.

The Left is sooooo excited. They actually have something to call up their armies and demonstrate against. Its been hard, what with Communists running South Africa, Bush gone and one of their guys running the wars, to really mobilize their crazies and direct their hate.

Sounds like a win-win situation for AZ. How can other states get SEIU boycott?
