Confessed terrorist Faisal Shahzad was removed from the Department of Homeland Security travel lookout list sometime after Barack Obama came into office. CBS reported:

That's sort of like a backward bear pooing in the woods. Was there a massacre if there is no investigation? I said the other day that Shahzad was known to them. They wouldn't have found him so quickly if they didn't. How much has the Kenyan Muslim swept under the rug that we don't know about yet.

I just posted that I wondered how he knew he’d been taken off the list... [I’m speculating that he didn’t try to re-enter the US until AFTER he was taken off as that just makes sense...]. With what you have posted we may have the answer to that question. I also wouldn’t doubt “insiders” within some of the airlines as well... I hope they are questioning the ticketing agent, and the one who boarded the passengers on that flight.

CBS may have reported this but they didn't specify when Shahzad was taken off the terrorist list.

What might have been the reason for his being taken off the list? A nice contribution to the Democrats, perhaps? No one with his name appears on the FEC political contribution list, but he could have contributed under an alias or with a group, could have contributed less than the minimum amount required to report, or perhaps the organization he contributed to failed to report his contribution.
