As our readers have already learned, Rep. Andre Carson gathered Capitol Hill reporters around him and told the tale of racial slurs and menacing crowds on the verge of hurling rocks at the congressmen. Our first few videos showed the congressmen coming out of the Cannon Office Building, walking down the steps and into Independence Avenue from various angles. None of those videos revealed the racial hatred Rep. Carson conveyed to reporters that day and none of the videos showed a mob rushing or in any way impeding the congressmen.
When Rep. Carson gathered reporters around him to spread the myth of racial slurs being hurled “fifteen times” he painted the protesters not just as racists, but as a terrorist threat. We know this, because Kerry Picket of the Washington Times recorded Rep. Carson as he explained it all to eager reporters.

Hey, that’s neat that at last politicians are beginning to FEAR the electorate, the people who actually EMPOWERED them. All of the legal citizens by birth with birth certificates.
The only threat they have from us will be in November.
Really, I thought Democrat-Marxist were the biggest threat to our internal security.
The only threat is to his reelection hopes or to his membership in a “majority”.
They need a good a** kicking, f’sure.
Which means they held rocks in their hands, which means Capitol Hill police would have moved to detain them in some manner. I call Barbra Streisand on the whole thing.
I was idly wondering if there was any sci-fi author that had an alternate history timeline of what the world would have been if Germany and its Jewish population acted exactly like the Tea Party prior to Hitler giving the orders for the “Jewish problem”.
Obama has the “American” problem, the Tea Party is a roadblock in his future plans of “change” for America.
Here we have a bigot being paid by the taxpayers and that POS has the nerve to say we,conservatives are a threat to national security.
To find a threat to the nations security should be quite easy for him,all he’d have to do is look on the mirror and in the whitehous.
That’s where the threat resides.
If Tea Partiers are terrorists, how long will it be before Lieberman et al have us stripped of our citizenship?
That’s the biggest threat they see.
A threat to their power.
That’s terrifying to them.
Unfortunately, I live in his district.

The King of England shared this Government Person's sentiment - of that there can be NO doubt.
If the people of America have EVER been a threat it has only been to the face of Tyrants. History in America has always been consistent on this point.
It only goes to illustrate the level of dysfunctionality in the where America's Government has descended to.
I think Lieberman is getting a bad rap on this.
Any naturalized citizen who took the oath with ulterior motives or under lies, can have their citizenship revoked.
Muslim terrorists, Nazi war criminals etc. It’s been done before and should be done if this guy is convicted. Joe’s problem is that he isn’t waiting for a conviction. Maybe he wants this guy sent to Gitmo and tried in a different court?
If by “internal Security” he means “Obama/Racist Demogogue/Fraudulent/Bumbling Government” I would have to agree.
The Tea Party movement might be our only hope to save the nation.
If wou think it will stop there, you and I have far different views on what is happening in our government. What you say may be what Lieberman envisions, but I doubt it will end there.
true...but the pols never look inward. They never seek to take note of what it is people are upset about. THOSE people are just wrong is their mindset. Always.
You cannot revoke the citizenship of a natural born American, unless that citizen has expatriated himself and sworn allegiance to another nation. I cannot currently think of a case.
Would the left like to have that ability? Sure.
So would the right.
Getting there may be tough, or even closer than I believe.
At the rate America is going, I’m not so sure I will still even want to be a citizen in a few years.
