Example 1: I see college graduates every day at registers who can’t make change; they have to look down at the register to subtract 1.87 from a twenty dollar bill and two pennies.

Example 2: At work, a young woman with a degree in English asked an older woman to “help her with percentages because I just don’t get it!”

Example 3: Spelling is ATROCIOUS from twenty somethings and even thirty somethings

Unreal! Not sure they are learning anything OTHER than community activism.

Ok that’s pretty pathetic. There are days when I’m too tired from working to do simple math quickly but I eventually figure it out. To be 20 years old and NOT KNOW how to do it is just...wow.
