THe Chinese are building up their navy and the Russians are modernizing and expanding theirs. The Russians have 3 carriers on the way, and the Chinese at least that many.

Folks the old navy has to change. Advances in technology have changed how a navy will look in the future. So don't give Gates to much grief, he is doing his job. As far and China and Russia go they are having problems building up their navies.

Don't you know that the Russians and the Chinese only want the most powerful advanced war fleets in the world for defensive purposes only!! I'am sure if we promise not to provoke them they will not attack us.
