ROBERT, La. - A remotely operated vehicle uses a saw to cut a ruptured pipe in preparations to stop a leak, May 3, 2010. The ROV was critical in completing the subsea operations and stopping one of the three leaks. Video provided by BP.

I received an 18 page .pdf file of the rig on fire and a fantastic explanation of whats involved. Wouldn't have a clue how to post it. Would be happy to send it to one of the Mods for their perusal. Let me know. It has great pictures of the rig on fire. Flames were 200-300 feet tall. You could see the flames (not the glow) for 35 miles. Has several days of photos until the rig finally sinks.
