I’m not sure what you’re referring to here...I was washing dishes when I was eleven years old to buy shoes and clothes for my siblings. I did manual labor on a golf course when I was 15 for the same reason. I cleaned rich peoples’ toilets during college just so I could scrape by. I’m not above doing dirty work. :)

here in Florida we have loads of folks passing through with little or No skills looking to strike it big. It doesn’t happen too often without long hard work. Oft times doing exactly what you describe. Nothing wrong with honest hard work.
To provide for your family ya do what ever it takes, even picking cotten.
That’s all.
