It all depends on one’s perspective. I figure all my Federal taxes are going to pay my daughter’s salary (in the Coast Guard), State taxes support the Parks, and local pays the Sheriff.
I would love to support the military, parks, public productions, etc through private donations but our little communist situation has put me into an ethical dilemma regarding taxable property. I can’t even consider renting/buying property or getting a higher wage until a considerable amount of regulation is repealed. This may never happen so I’ll have to deliberately remain a pauper.
