We sent our form in. I was talking to a lib from Hawaii who told me she had sent her census in already, but came home from shopping with 2 census workers at her door.

The workers said she was the only home on her block that returned her form, and could she proxy for the other 13 families. She did & gave the info "for her neighbors".

I said my goodness, that like making up votes! She got quite upset and said NO! Are you stupid? Do you know what the Census does?? When I explained to her that I knew what the purpose was, she got pissed. Her parting shot was " I love how folks like you complain of gov't intrusion in schools, business etc, but have no problem driving on federally funded roads! I just cracked up laughing & ended the conversation!
