U.S. 2010 Afghan Death Toll Third Worst Sine 2001

While everyone’s eyes are on the Market Boards on Wall St. and on the new Supreme Court pick, I checked up where the US stands in Afghanistan.

In terms of the death toll, the USA lost this year 118 soldiers, which is less than the 316 of last year, and the 155 of Bush’s last year, but it is more than any other year since the operation started at the end of 2001. Worse, the current colander year is only in its first half.

It makes me sad thinking what the next six-plus months of 2010 may hold for the US forces in Afghanistan.

I haven't heard a single word in the mainstream news media concerning US deaths in Iraq/Afghanistan for weeks.

God help me I hate those folks with a passion.

The loss of every U.S. member of the military is terrible, but it’s an insult to the memory of these people and what they stood for to belittle their sacrifice as if it was worthless, or stood for nothing.

War is hell folks. We’re fighting it in Iraq and Afghanistan so we don’t have to fight so much of it here.

Note that Gates wants to shrink our military further. And when he does, he will have insured that future battles will take place on our soil. That’s what happens when you retreat to your own borders.

That’s what this writer’s main goal is. F—K them! Better them than our nation.

That’s because there aren’t enough of them to advance their agenda. What a sad day that is for the lefties.

I share your disgust of them.

This should have been wrapped up nine years ago... both Dems and Repubs have dithered... if we can’t win this in 9 years, we should be getting the hell out...

First we pray everyday that we do not have any casualties among our troops serving in any theater of war, Afghanistan, Iraq, or anywhere else. Second who ever wrote this story should not play the causalities count game regarding our brave troops because this is a very ugly game that the traitors on the left play to provide aid and comfort to the terrorist enemy.

God bless our brave troops the protectors of our freedom and our way of life.

This is tied DIRECTLY to Obama’s boy Gen McChrystal who said when he took over that the previous admin had been “ preoocupied with the safety of our forces)
and he would change that to focus on making sure Afghans were not killed, he admitted American deaths would go up.
Now they have this silly award, Courageous restraint award, which goes to those who do not fire even when they could be killed by not firing.

We’re fighting it in Iraq and Afghanistan so we don’t have to fight so much of it here.

How about we kill all the bad guys first, and nation build later??

Seems to me we’re doing both.

What would your plan be?

.
You hope.

An unidentified CIC and his cowardly congresscritters send our brave troops to fight the intruder at the front door while they let his accomplice enter through the back door.

The death count in BOTH Iraq wars doesn’t equal that of one day at Antietem or the assault on Iwo Jima.
