TEL AVIV -- Israel has developed the advanced air refueling systems that could facilitate a strike on Iran.
The officials also said the development overcame several years of refusals by Washington to supply the systems required for the 1,000 kilometer flight from Israel to Iran.
Officials said the Israel Air Force has overseen the development and deployment of air refueling systems for its U.S.-origin fighter-jet fleet.

That other guy asked us to imagine a world without several things he apparently found offensive. One of those was the Crusades.
The Crusades were essentially defensive wars, waged against a violently expansionist mohammedan enemy. That some of the crusaders engaged in gross misconduct is given ... that the Crusades were a necessary action to preserve the West against those who would destroy it is politically incorrect, but true.
If you wish to condemn the Crusades, go live in Iran, Saudi Arabia, or some other garden spot of tolerance tolerance and enlightenment. That's what mohammedanism would impose on the whole world.
What’s wrong with the Crusades? Crusaders halped keep the
Muslims out of Europe.
The closest new moon to the winter equinox...darkest for the longest...air is cold.
The alternative is very hot weather, broad daylight...flying very, very low and very fast.
This is from a few years ago, but it’s Fox News and it details a little of what I’m referring to, and it barely mentions the Pollard fiasco.

After watching these, think about how many US spies have been thrown out of Israel and get back to us with that number, okay?
You might want to see what Israel is up to with their “superiority”
They have their own liberal Democrats, even worse than ours, leading their country down the tubes.
And, on top of that, their “most religious” Jews, the Orthodox, are the ones seemingly most on Welfare there.
I would say its more likely Israel stole or were given the secrets, rather than coming up with them on its own.
Joan, Israel is not a theocracy.
You are thinking of the Old Testament Israel, I think. That said, I don’t want to see the country “lost,” either.
But allies shouldn’t be spying left and right on each other. Think of how many US spies have been kicked out of Israel and then look at the numbers of Israeli spies kicked out of here in the past ten years.
One place to look is the link to Fox News in the prior post from me.
So you don’t like Israel. Fine. Who gives a crap?
I show proof of major spying from Israel on the US after you say Israel has no need for that, you you have no response, save for “Who gives a crap?”
That tells us a lot about you.
“think about how many US spies have been thrown out of Israel and get back to us with that number, okay?”
Sure, two Google clicks:

Rather than make a big deal about it, and in spite of the fact that some of the information being stolen is deeply damaging to Israel’s national security, out of a sense of comity with Washington, Israel keeps the scandals quiet and generally deports the spies. . . “

1986 case of Yosef Amit.
Amit was a major in Israeli military intelligence. At one point, he worked in the secretive “Unit 504,” which is responsible for coordinating spies in Arab countries neighboring Israel, and he also had close contacts in the Shin Bet, Israel’s domestic intelligence agency. In the mid-80s, Amit was recruited by Tom Waltz, a Jewish CIA officer based in the CIA’s station in Tel Aviv. And, until his arrest, he furnished the CIA with classified information about Israel’s troop movements and its plans in both the occupied territories and Lebanon.

American sub spied on Israel
American sub spied on Israel
Aaron Lerner Date: 5
June 2005
Israel Television Channel Two military affairs correspondent Ronnie Daniel
revealed this evening that the submarine Israel chased from its territorial
waters last November was an American spy sub. The vessel was identified by
the Israeli Navy 18 kilometers from shore near Haifa, and fled shortly after
discovery. IDF commanders admitted it wasn’t the first time a Western
submarine had been intercepted spying on Israel.
Daniel indicated that Israel does not know what the spy sub was focusing on.

Dec. 10, 2008 update: A Reuters reporter, Dan Williams, got a look at a new official history of Israel’s intelligence services due out later this month that contains new evidence of U.S. spying on Israel. Titled in English “Masterpiece: An Inside Look at Sixty Years of Israeli Intelligence,” it is as official a document as can be, with prefaces by the chiefs of Israel’s military intelligence, Shin Bet, and Mossad and the Israel Intelligence Heritage and Commemoration Center as publisher.
Williams found that “American spy agencies use technologies like electronic eavesdropping, and trained staff from the U.S. embassy in Tel Aviv, for methodical intelligence gathering’.”
Barak Ben-Zur, a retired Shin Bet internal security service officer, wrote in the volume that “The United States has been after Israel’s non-conventional capabilities and what goes on at the decision-making echelons.” Asked by Reuters for operational details on U.S. spying efforts, Ben-Zur declined. But he described the American efforts as largely benign, given close defense ties between Israel and the Bush administration. “At the end of the day,” he said, “the United States does not want to be surprised. Even by us.”

Gregory Levey - The New Republic - May 8, 2007
“When I first started work at the Israeli prime minister’s office as a speechwriter, I already held a security clearance from a previous job. Still, to obtain the higher level of clearance required for my new position, I had to go through a battery of security tests, interviews, and background checks. Nothing strange there, but then I noticed that the security agents seemed most concerned that I might be spying—for the United States. In fact, much of the questioning turned on this issue. And my clearance was twice delayed because I had a few (not very close) acquaintances who worked in American intelligence. It had never occurred to me that the Israelis were concerned about American espionage, which seemed to me like the least of their troubles, so I asked an Israeli counterintelligence agent if this was really such an issue. “Definitely,” he nodded gravely. “They’re trying to spy on us all the time—every way they can.””

(Reuters, 12/10/2008) - “The United States routinely spies on Israel to try to gather information on its assumed atomic arsenal and secret government deliberations, a new official history of Israel’s intelligence services says.”

Etc.
That’s the Shas party, a party for Mirahim (Sephardic Jews from muslim nations).
They are a small minority party, relevant only because of the fractured collation, just like in England.
They are not the “most religious.”
They are social conservatives who believe in nanny state forcing morality on people, and welfare for Yeshiva students.
As I posted on the thread, they are Mike Huckabee, but Jewish.
No. Actually, I deleted a detailed response to you because you are close minded and arguing with someone who has already decided the outcome is an exercise in futility. I am not into futility. Really.
As a Jewish person, I don’t have a problem with the crusades, as they were largely defense wars against muslims.
I do, however, have a problem with the pograms of peaceful Jewish people living in Europe or wherever that went hand-in-hand with these wars.
“Einstein was a Jew, as were many others in the Manhattan Project.”
Einstein wasn’t involved in the Manhattan Project. He may have been an “instigator” in encouraging FDR to take Nazi nuclear weapons development seriously, but he didn’t have any involvement in actually developing the bomb. Indeed, he strongly condemned its use. http://www.doug-long.com/einstein.htm
LOL. You are a glutton for punishment. I can’t wait to see the response on that one.
Hey, I didn’t even get to the radio and military spying cases from Israel in my post.
I was only talking of the 100 or so just around 2001, not even getting into Pollard and many before.
Of course everyone’s embassies are potential spying locations, and ships off coasts are too. I’d say that is effectively equal, if not more from Israel to the US.
But, when it comes to people on the ground, without a doubt, you will find it strongly one-sided, with Israel using many more such resources, and having many more found out.
Looking at who invented the nuclear bomb for the USA, I think we can do OK.
Jewish Nobel Prize Winners
At least 170 Jews and persons of half-Jewish ancestry have been awarded the Nobel Prize,1 accounting for 22% of all individual recipients worldwide between 1901 and 2005, and constituting 37% of all US recipients2 during the same period. In the scientific research fields of Chemistry, Economics, Medicine, and Physics, the corresponding world and US percentages are 26% and 39%, respectively. (Jews currently make up approximately 0.25% of the world’s population and 2% of the US population.)
* Chemistry (28 prize winners, 19% of world total, 27% of US total)
* Economics (22 prize winners, 39% of world total, 53% of US total)
* Literature (13 prize winners, 13% of world total, 27% of US total)

So the “Ultra-Orthodox” are not your most conservative Jewish people??
From the story:
“65% of ultra-Orthodox Jews don’t work, government figures show. The non-employment rate for ultra-Orthodox men has tripled since 1970, Ben-David said.”
So these “Ultra-Orthodox” people are actually people from Muslim nations and not Israel?
