Sorry but in southern California there is an illegal rate that is close to 70% in some communities. If I offend you or anyone else you have my apologies.
If the borders were closed this would be less of an issue
Good thing I read the comments first because that was exactly what I was going to say.
It seems there are no limits to evil and depravity.
It would be an improvement in many cases if you could get them to think once.
Exactly. The poor girl.
LMAO!!
How did you come to that figure?
I have been in those communities-— places like the little town outside of Lancaster where NO ONE speaks English and most of the trucks are plated from Mexico. All over the area in southern cal there are such towns. In LA there are neighborhoods that have nothing but illegals. Now you can pretend it is not true all you want, but that does not change what is happening on the ground.
One only needs to see what is happening along the border of the southern US—— crime out the wazoo, kidnapping, murder, drug cartel problems, AND Mexican army coming across the border to ‘help’ the poor immigrant. Please. the newspapers are full of the coverage every day. If you do not live there or have not been there, do not hide your head in the sand
I live in San Diego. My family has been in SoCal for many generations.
Let me suggest that you not spout out percentages that you cannot defend.
If you have lived in California any amount of time, you MUST know that there are many fine citizens with Hispanic surnames. As an example, my three half-siblings have Hispanic surnames and are police officers here in SD County.
To smear people based upon their name is reckless, trollish behavior.
I did the math for Salinas, CA in #45 here

Looks like 53,016 / 92073 = 58% illegal to me, and having been there a few times, I am certain that’s low. Unless every time I’m there, I’m in the “illegal” part of town where no conversations or signs are in English.
Let me do some more math for you. 58% < 70%
Way less.
Not to mention that your original assumptions and math are suspect.
The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.
Yes, but at least the child was socialized.
Do I really need the /s?

Make her name and face famous.
Let her spend the remainder of her life being shunned and harried until she can take no more and finds a nice train to jump in front of.
Justice will then be served.
Socialization is all you know.
Gone are the days when I went to school and we were told that we WEREN’T there to socialize, that that what we were supposed to be doing AFTER school.

It's a figure of speech, Einstein. Don't read too much into it. Although it's probably a true statement all the same.
