My city Tampa received word from GOP officials that we are to host the 2012 Republican Convention!
Wild horses couldn’t drag me to any political party’s convention, unless the horses were in harness and hitched to a limbered caisson, and I knew friends were meeting me there with balls, canister, and black powder.
Have you been in Phoenix in late August — it is way too hot for most people.
Tampa is a much better place to host and they have lost out twice already so it is their turn.
RNC head doesn’t choose the location, the full committee does and Tampa was way ahead of AZ and UT for months long before immigration which is the ONLY reason some of you wanted AZ.
We need FL back red and this should do it.
The dome is in downtown St. Pete, across the Bay from us. As for hurricanes, we haven’t had one here in Tampa since 1928, so depending on how you look at it, we’re either immune to them now, or we’re long overdue!
I’ll pray hard that it turns red again!

I dunno. Dallas has a lot.... “Gentleman’s clubs” (laugh riot)
see if they came back to NY there aren’t any vice places (like there used to be) since Giuliani shut them down years go. They could still get drunk as hell anywhere, though.
