Public Policy Polling ^ | May 12, 2010 | Tom Jensen

Posted on 05/12/2010 12:52:35 PM PDT by yongin

A month after trailing all but Sarah Palin and Newt Gingrich, President Barack Obama is now ahead of all four major Republican presidential candidates polled, plus a new dark horse. Obama has increased his lead over Palin from 47-45 to 50-43 since April; she is the only candidate against whom Obama has majority support. Even unknown candidate Gary Johnson, former New Mexico governor, has Obama at 46, to Johnson’s 28. Obama leads Mike Huckabee 46-45 after trailing him 47-45 last month. The president beats Gingrich 49-42; they were tied at 45 in April. Romney lags behind Obama 46-44 after beating him 45-44 a month ago.

Kinda meaningless IMHO, but a bit bothersome.

It’s hardly a “rebound” IMHO.

We keep fighting and the idiots keep voting for the rats. They deserve what’s coming their way. Maybe that’s what needs to happen so we can press the re-set button.

Sounds like someone is whistling past the graveyard to me. If this is sooooo true,, wonder why everyone associated with his agenda has lost every election since he came in?

Excellent! Of course this means absolutely nothing... except to the cheerling MSM who are now breathing a false sense of relief.

This pollster says people are tired of the healthcare debate and that if the GOP focuses on ObamaCare repeal instead of jobs, it will be a political loser.

Messgae from Dems:

Nominate Romney or Huckabee - they have the best chance of beating Obama (just like McCain, who always polled highest vs. Democrats in Dem and MSM polls)

I would LOVE to see a Johnson/Palin ticket. Or Palin/Johnson. Either way, just as good.

Who is this yahoo? Wherever in these polls it shows Obama leading, it is certainly inside the margin of error. Completely meaningless.

All that shows is that the GOP does not YET have a viable candidate.
