Health Care Lawsuit Could Be Filed Friday
UPDATED: 12:27 pm PDT May 12, 2010
LAS VEGAS -- Nevadas lawsuit over federal health care reform, pursued by Gov. Jim Gibbons without the attorney generals consent, could be filed Friday, a spokesman for Gibbons said Wednesday.
Gibbons last month issued an executive order directing the law firm of Hutchison & Steffen to file the suit, challenging what the governor claimed were unconstitutional statutes in the new law.
State Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto refused Gibbons order to sue, saying, among other things, that Nevada would automatically benefit if other states lawsuits were successful.
And the state health care system could crumble of they fail. Is she an idiot?
“State Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto...”
Those damn Swedes, they don’t like this stuff...
The more states get involved, the more we can tie up death care.
Article doesn’t say so....is the AG a Democrat?
Talk about courage.
Very nice.
