The movie “Back to the Future” was made in 1985. They went back 30 years to 1955 — almost a different planet.

If that movie was made today, they would go back to... 1980! Recognizable to most of us, the year of the launch of the PC, cell phones were big but existed...

This type of music (APP) is played today, not a oldies, but as mainstream music (for the most part).

Compare that to the music, the styles, the culture etc. comparison of 1985 to 1955.

Weird, huh? I still don’t know what to make of it...

I remember in the 70’s guys would have “Maurice” in script on the windshields of their cars.

And to this day no one knows what a “pompotus” is... not even Steve Miller :)
