Its hard to make your own ketchup because it involves pressure cookers.

I’ve made my own - no pressure cooker. It tastes good, but tends to be watery.

I made some a couple of times in order to have low salt ketchup. It took forever to simmer down and I smelled like barbecue sauce.I prefer the Canadian Heinz ketchup, which appears to have a higher sugar/vinegar ratio.

I can make my own ketchup without a pressure cooker. It just won’t stay for more than a few days and I’m just lazy.
