Great points.

I just went on the Heinz website and asked whether it was customers or “nanny state” pressure. Also asked them to consider two versions of the product, using the “classic” label that someone mentioned above.

Yeah, they’re going to be sneaky about it. They’re just going to quietly make the change. There won’t be a low salt and a classic version, since that would tip off the public. Instead it will be stealthy like a VAT tax.

This ketchup thing really is a great illustration of what liberalism is. It would be a great teaching tool for Rush.

I dont know if it is so much a capitulation to pressure from Obama. I believe many of these companies realize that trial lawyers have food companies in their crosshairs and are taking preemptive measures.
