Rahm Emanuel spent nearly a week in the summer of 2009 aggressively trying to talk Obama out of moving foward with an ambitious version of health care reform, and by his own admission "begged" him not to do it, a book out next week reports.
The book, Jonathan Alter's The Promise, goes much further than previous accounts in documenting just how opposed Rahm was to proceeding with ambitious reform -- something that was widely suspected at the time but never proven in detail. Excerpts of the book were made available in advance of its release next Tuesday.

Exactly right-Rahm is trying to protect his political future and he’s got plenty of allies in media to help him.
And a humongous lie. Rahm and his brother CHAMPION Socialist Medicine as the key to destroy the middle class and set up their elitist utopia with their willing serfs.
We must stay vigilant. All Americans of all backgrounds must be made to see that they are the targets of this war. Then we as true brothers will all join together for the Second American Revolution, the revolution of LIBERTY!

The MSM better worry about their unemployment checks. There are no jobs for former MSM liars. They’re TOAST and so is Kapo Rahm and the same scenario is awaiting hundreds in DC come November 2nd. Along with the political Elitists going home, their staffs can update their resumes and pray they can find a burger joint job.

I was at NRA convention in Charlotte, NC today. 20,000+ at Time Warner Arena (Bobcats) to see Sarah Palin, Oliver North, Ken Blackwell (by far the best speaker), Mike Pence, Chuck Norris, Richard Burr, and others. Tomorrow night is Newt, Glenn Beck, Charlie Daniels and others.
During his speech, Pence promised the NRA members that Obamacare would be repealed “lock, stock and barrel”.
It was a very interesting and inspirational afternoon. Conservatism is taking a strong stand and I think we can turn all this crap around. Keep fighting freepers!
