We're not talking about selling one's soul to the Devil. That is active participation, a deal made by one's own free will.

I was referring to the entry by demons into a soul that is empty, a place that is not filled with the fire of Jesus Christ, which keeps all demons away.

It's not an easy concept. It's not as easy to understand as a deal made with the Devil. It is biblical, however. And if you think about it makes sense.

No human soul is empty.

How would a soul be empty? Each soul is filled with spirits. Every person is a battleground for spiritual warfare.

Even a person who has given himself to Jesus is still tempted and tortured by demons.

And just as importantly, a soul who is plagued with demons can still reach out and call on the name of Jesus.

If what you say is Biblical, point to a Scriptural reference and to theologians who interpret it in a way that supports your conclusion.

I know people who have trod the pits of hell...and come back into the light.

What you are saying is not necessarily incorrect but I think it is slightly askew.

Of course, I might be misinterpreting your meaning or misunderstanding your point.

If I am missing your point, help me see it.

This is not a casual topic for me...and I humbly ask you to help me see what you are saying.

If on the other hand, you are a novice in this area (and being a novice does not mean you are incorrect)...no harm done.

But for those who lurk and those who read and are near answering the call of Christ...make sure you are not speaking of theory untested and untried.

Arrogance!

I do not think you mean to be arrogant.

There are people here who are way beyond "easy"!

This discussion is not about you or me...do not assume that those who are reading this thread are limited to "easy"...

If you write your comments so as to include those who have first hand knowledge of demonic possession, you will have spoken to the more mature element reading this thread.

If you think the readers herein are limited to "easy concepts," you are dramatically underestimating your audience.

I agree. Furthermore, sinfulness extends beyond immorality to anything we do for good, independent of faith through Him.

They voted for a novel idea of having a black as President without looking at the individual and what he stood for.

Fair enough, but how do you explain Pelosi, Reid and the leftist legilature?

Personally, I believe that the Republicans, in the last election, didn’t want the White House or Congress because they saw what was coming down the line in regards to the economy. They let the Democrats have the White House and they will blame them for what we are going through. As for Pelosi, I think that they let Pelosi be the fall person and gave her the Speaker of the House position. Nobody else wanted it. As for Reid, he was a power house in the Democratic party, but now they will go down with him.

Our nation elected unabashedly pagan representatives who are possessed of a tapestry of unclean ideologies who have an almost religious fervor in advancing their control over greater sectors of our common life and economy. The sad part is that these people who govern us are simply being true to their convictions: before the election, they were not abashed in telling us how radical they are, and now we are reaping the fruits of the demonic agenda of the death and destruction that they have brought with them.
Wow, what a paragraph! Fr. Euteneuer, with all the evil he sees an exorcist, certainly can speak out on the subject well, and with each of his commentaries, his words seem to get stronger and stronger. Join us in prayer for Fr. Euteneuer. He's one of our rare courageous Catholic leaders not afraid to speak the Truth.
