At last! Someone on these threads from outside the state of KY is displaying some sanity in our senate race. Paul is not going to be the next Ronald Reagan, and neither will anyone else. Paul has been endorsed by Sen. Jim DeMint, Steve Forbes, Dr. James Dobson, Sarah Palin, Sen. Jim Bunning (who Rand will replace and who has more guts than ANYONE serving in the US Senate), Concerned Woman for America, and Gun Owners of America.

In polls Paul is leading by at least 12% over one of the most RINO slugs currently running for office. Grayson is being supported by both amnesty RINOS and recipients of bail out money.

Paul doesn’t have to be great; he just has do the right things as required by the Constitution.

I’ve been a rock-ribbed conservative since the early 1960s. I was a charter member of Young Americans for Freedom when they went nationwide, I founded two Young Republicans clubs at two universities, I founded Teen-Aged Republicans of GA in 1965-66(I lived there), I was a state senate page to the first Republican elected to the General Assembly in GA since reconstruction, I debated both Jimmy Carter and Lester Maddox publicly, and I worked for and supported conservative candidates in three other states for 35 years.

Instead of spending tons of time writing clever snippets for hours on web sites, I have been actively working to kill socialism and preserve the US Constitution. I don’t support people CLAIMING to be conservatives lightly, and in this race Rand Paul is the better candidate.
