“But this cult of personality thing here is same old same old as someone said.”

“Cult of Personality”?
_______________________________________
There you go again. Let me see if I can be crystal clear, since I imagine you heard her supporters referred to as a cult of personality by...Keith Olberman, Chris Mathews, David Frum, David Brooks or some other leftist or crypto-leftist. You did not hear that canard from Rush, Levin or any conservative, I daresay. It sounded good so you decided to repeat it without attribution.

IT DOES NOT AMOUNT TO A “CULT OF PERSONALITY” TO SUPPORT PALIN SIMPLY BECAUSE SHE IS THE ONLY GOP CANDIDATE WITH A.....PERSONALITY. I put that in caps in hopes that you would read it and understand what it means. A cult of personality generally arises when a compliant media creates an idealized or heroic public image of a leader, usually a dictator who CONTROLS the mass media, like Obama, Chavez, Stalin, Hitler or Mao.

In case you haven’t noticed, the mass media has done everything it can not to promote Palin but to DESTROY her. Her “cult of personality”, as you mis-characterize it, is her appeal both as a candidate and as a person which exists independent from, and indeed in spite of, the mass media (which creates genuine cults of personality such as Obama’s).

Word to the wise: Understand terms like cult of personality before you loosely throw them around and embarrass yourself.

This is our chance to get Boxer out. We’ve been waiting for a long time. I hope we can overcome the Campbell supporters and Palin haters and make the smart political move.

Most of us Palin supporters are supporting DeVore.

I'm right there with you.

I agree about the troll thing. Hell, even *I* was called a troll by a Sarah fan on this thread- and have YET to receive an apology.

“This is our chance to get Boxer out.”

I know. If that spiteful dwarf gets another six years because of this imbecilic nonsense, it will be a tragedy for the whole country and for Sarah Palin who will have to suffer with Babs throughout her first term. Yukk!

So if she doesn’t belong in public office then I don’t see why it should concern you or anyone else who she chooses to endorse. If, as you say, she has a role to play in the Republican Party, then I would expect her to endorse some Republicans who fail to meet the litmus test put on them by the conservative wing. Also, I don’t buy that business about her not being popular in her home state.

Good point. I think Palin people need to keep an eye on the huckster crowd. This vile group will work with the media to destroy Palin. Palin may have slipped when she endorsed McCain but she has been consistant with her endorsements. In these close races look who the huckster goes for and then go the other direction.

Good Point. Huck doesn’t care who wins when he endorses. If he gets in, it will be to try to hurt Palin and to help whoever offers him the most and to keep his name out there so he can make money. He can’t win and would not do very well in light of the Maurice Clemmons/Wayne Dumond Pardon scandals that would be hung around his neck.

Hate speech undisguised by attacking Sarah as using hate speech! Convoluted, twisted take on fact. Clearly meant to create in the readers a sense of betrayal as to Sarah’s actions.

Horse feathers ... Pay no attention to this puke.

Oh sure, the demented sheep candidate fits right into that...
get real

The people who blindly follow Sarah despite her missteps and follow lock step with her remind me of the Obama drones.

It is scary.

She didn’t have to endorse the demented sheep candidate. She didn’t have to come out several times in favor of Steele - who clearly needs to go.

She doesn’t have to endorse RINO after RINO after RINO.

......

She doesn’t have to endorse RINO after RINO after RINO.

So all of the following endorsements are RINOs?

1. Nikki Haley
2. Michelle Bachmann
3. Scott Brown
4. Doug Hoffman
5. Rand Paul
6. Marco Rubio
7. Chris Christie
8. Bob McDonnell
9. Sean Duffy
10. John McCain
11. Carly

And there are more she has already endorsed that are only conservative and several more she is on the verge of endorsing that are also, conservative.

So, Wardaddy, given your earlier comments concerning Sarah Supporters and those who are Anti-Sarah, this is what we have to continually deal with.

Statements that distort the truth, that leave out large parts of the truth, in order to support what amounts to extremely biased and dishonest statements because of the context the statements are framed in.

This is much more one-sided than you framed the problem.

You are still supposed to support Devore.

I have. I was an early supporter of DeVore.
It's clear that he can't raise money or generate support even among conservative activists. Who's fault is that?
If you can't raise money or generate support, then you're not a viable candidate. It's as simple as that.

Ronald Wilson Reagan would not be good enough for some of you. I am sure he supported a couple of people you would throw him under the bus for.

Palin was criticized on her Facebook page for endorsing Carly by many of the people that support her. How is that being sheep?

The people who blindly follow Sarah despite her missteps and follow lock step with her remind me of the Obama drones.

It's not the same. Conservatives follow Sarah because she is the only Republican criticizing Obama and standing up for this country. We've waited a long time for a Republican to stand up for what they believe in. Were the supporters of Reagan in 1980 drones too?

She didn’t have to endorse the demented sheep candidate.

Perhaps, but the alternative is remaining silent so that the uber RINO Campbell wins to be later defeated by Boxer. I trust Sarah's judgment more than yours.

She didn’t have to come out several times in favor of Steele - who clearly needs to go.

It's unusual for Republican candidates and/or office holders to criticize the party chair. The criticism should come from the grassroots.
