I'd be surprised if Rick "the fence is ridiculous" Perry isn't leading this charge against the fence......again.

We need a President who will use emminent domain to seize property along the Rio Grande and put up huge double fences with a road between them, then do some serious patrols with big, nasty guns. A shoot to kill on sight order wouldn’t be out of place, either.

Remember: these Reconquista groups are now siding with Hamas and Al Qaeda. No more being ‘politically correct’.

I think the fence around the White House is divisive.

I didn’t realize all of these “groups” who signed the letter even existed in Texas. I shouldn’t be surprised, though! They represent what percent of Texans who DO want the fence completed, the borders secured and protected and a government who will see that all is being done to PROTECT her citizens?

New York group calls on senators to nix border fence expansion (DeMintier tries to force Le Hunter Fencier) CIR ^ | 5/7/10 | staff

Posted on 5/15/10 2:55:54 PM by kissauntie

More than two-dozen cities and counties in Southern Quebec Province and the Northern New York State Undocumented Canadian Know-It-Alls (NNYSUCK), Inc., joined by moon-bat environmentalists and French-Canadian illegal immigrant-rights organizations are calling on two U.S. lawmakers to end their push for additional electric fences along the New York State`s boundary with Canada.

In a letter to Senate leaders May 6, the Northern New York Border and Southern Canada Coalition of Dairy Farmers and Les Others argued that the approximately 650 miles of electric fencing already constructed in recent years has divided cowbarns, negatively impacted the pasture grazing environment and cost taxpayers a fortune in cow pies. They say that despite investing $2.6 billion so far, the barrier’s value in stopping the flow of French Canadian cows illegally immigrating to New York State and French Canadian cow hormone drug traffickers from Saskatchewan hasn’t been studied.

The lack of such an analysis was confirmed this week by the Government Accountability Office, a watchcow leg of Congress, which concluded in a report that Customs and Border Protection “cannot account separately for the impact of undocumented cow pies falling on electric fences, i.e., tactical infrastructure,” making the border fencing an unsightly fried-up mess indeed for farm visitors."

The communists built the Berlin Wall basically overnight and it did a damn good job of keeping people out - and in. Why in the hell does there need to be a "study"? Either it is staunching the flow or it is not.

That Texas border country was where I was born, raised and worked for many years, it’s all Democrat run. It was like living in a huge Democrat voting bloc.

That string of counties is easy to see on the red/blue map. We can cut them off of Texas, draw a new border (Texas will look a little strange but we can deal with it), built a fence and have limited check points through our perimeter.

Their loyalties are to Mexico for the most part and they run their counties in that fashion.

South Texas counties along the border are heavily democratic and the local government officials and business men have vested interests in maintaining status quo instead of immigration enforcement and securing the border. The local ranchers, however, are screaming for the State of Texas and the feds to do their damned jobs and secure the border and protect their property.

This effort to stop any more work on a border fence is a tactic to make sure there is no effective measure to slow the invasion. La Raza knows that such a fence will be an effective means to curb the flow across the border. The Democrat Party knows that they need to fill the void created by Americans who are turned off by the way Democrats have conducted themselves during this economic downturn. The Democrat Party, the unions and La Raza want to register new Democrat voters who only need a driver’s license to register. It will make it harder for Americans concerned about their nation to take the Democrats out of power.

The radical racist group Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan, or Chicano Student Movement of Aztlán (MEChA) is spreading the myth of an ancestral homeland—Aztlán—in the United States that needs to be taken back from the Europeans who took it from the Nahua peoples. This is a motivating force based upon evil lies to strike down every effort to curb the invasion of Mexicans across our borders.

Our taxpayer money is supporting this force. The National Council of La Raza succeeded in receiving over $15.2 million in federal grants last year alone, of which $7.9 million was in U.S. Department of Education grants for Charter Schools, and undisclosed amounts were for get-out-the-vote efforts supporting La Raza political positions

It is this racist tax supported movement that has brought people out in our streets with the words: “ La Raza todo. Fuera de La Raza nada”—”For The Race everything. Outside The Race, nothing.”

Of interest is that George Soros has also funded the racist National Council of La Raza and Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund (MALDEF). Both groups seek to open America’s borders and have visions of “reclaiming” Aztlán.

If these groups love their race so much, they should be working in Mexico eliminate the corruption that has ruined opportunity for the Mexican people. You won’t see any such effort in anything they have promoted. Instead, Michelle Malkin has given 15 objectives of La Raza (The Race):

1. “The Race” thrives on ethnic supremacy — and the politically correct elite’s unwillingness to call it what it is. Prominent historian Victor Davis Hanson observes: “[The] organization’s very nomenclature ‘The National Council of La Raza’ is hate speech to the core. Despite all the contortions of the group, Raza (as its Latin cognate suggests) reflects the meaning of ‘race’ in Spanish, not ‘the people’ — and that’s precisely why we don’t hear of something like ‘The National Council of the People,’ which would not confer the buzz notion of ethnic, racial and tribal chauvinism.”

2. “The Race” has honed the practice of the politically correct shakedown at taxpayer expense, pushing relentlessly to lower home-loan standards for Hispanic borrowers, reaping millions in federal “mortgage counseling” grants, seeking special multimillion-dollar earmarks, and partnering with banks that do business with illegal aliens.

3. “The Race” sponsors and supports militant ethnic nationalist charter schools subsidized by your public tax dollars (at least $8 million in federal education grants). The schools include Aztlan Academy in Tucson, Ariz., the Mexicayotl Academy in Nogales, Ariz., Academia Cesar Chavez Charter School in St. Paul, Minn., and La Academia Semillas del Pueblo in Los Angeles, whose principal inveighed: “We don’t want to drink from a White water fountain, we have our own wells and our natural reservoirs and our way of collecting rain in our aqueducts. We don’t need a White water fountain . . . ultimately the White way, the American way, the neo liberal, capitalist way of life will eventually lead to our own destruction.”

4. “The Race” has conducted a smear campaign against staunch immigration-enforcement leaders and has called for TV and cable news networks to keep immigration enforcement proponents off the airwaves.

5. “The Race” spawned and supported a poisonous subset of ideological satellites, including Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan (MEChA). The late GOP Rep. Charlie Norwood rightly characterized MEChA as “the most anti-American groups in the country.”

6. Former “The Race” president Raul Yzaguirre, Hillary Clinton’s Hispanic outreach adviser, said this: “U.S. English is to Hispanics as the Ku Klux Klan is to blacks.” He was referring to U.S. English, the nation’s oldest, largest citizens’ action group dedicated to preserving the unifying role of the English language in the United States.

7. “The Race” has opposed post-9/11 national security measures at every turn.

8. “The Race” condemned common-sense voter ID provisions as an “absolute disgrace.”

9. “The Race” initiated a lawsuit to prevent Proposition 227, California’s bilingual education reform ballot initiative, from becoming law.

10. “The Race” decried Oklahoma’s tough immigration-enforcement-first laws, which cut off welfare to illegal aliens, put teeth in employer sanctions, and strengthened local-federal cooperation and information sharing.

11. “The Race” joined the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee in a failed lawsuit attempt to prevent federal officials from entering immigration information into a key national crime database.

12. “The Race” calls for the immediate removal of fences along the Mexican border.

13. “The Race” opposes cooperative immigration enforcement efforts between local, state, and federal authorities.

14.”The Race” demands in-state tuition discounts for illegal alien students - - discounts are not available to law-abiding U.S. citizens and law-abiding legal immigrants.

15. “The Race” supports the issuance of driver’s licenses to illegal aliens.

The fence is a mental barrier.....that’s all.

The request is valid. The fence does not accomplish the goal.
