There was a moment on Saturday when even the usually unflappable J. Jon Bruno, bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles, held his breath. It was the point when the 3,000 people at the Long Beach Arena were asked if anyone had any objections to the ordination of the region's first two female bishops, one of whom is the first lesbian bishop ordained by the Episcopal Church.
"I don't think there's anybody in this place who was more nervous than I was," Bruno said a short time later in his sermon. But the moment passed in silence, and the two women — Diane Jardine Bruce and Mary Douglas Glasspool — were ordained to applause and cheers. Bruno said the church was "fuller and richer and more vital" as a result.
"Today, as we pray over these two magnificent women, bring into your hearts those things that you bear against any other human being and cast them away," Bruno told the assembly. "For we cannot be separated from each other if God is for us and with us. . . . There are no outcasts."
Bruce and Glasspool will be assistants to Bruno, a position known as suffragan. They are the 1,044th and 1,045th bishops ordained in the history of the Episcopal Church, but few previous clerical elections have attracted as much attention.

Oh well, this is LA. The nominally male Archbishop is named J. Jon, so what else could one reasonably expect? Perhaps the ECUSA hierarchy can find it in their hearts to draw the line at bestiality and devil worship, although I doubt it.

True - but not only the Episcopal Church but most mainline churches, the universities, government, etc., and it was all part of the social revolution begun in the 60’s and continues to this day.

schools, uni's, church,s , sport/gun/hunting groups, media even on here there is some causing unrest and trying to spread their agenda by using the libertarian view on things like homosexuals IMHO I'd say us on the right are about 40 years behind the far left with their agenda and we;re playing catch up we have to educate our kids, tell them what is going on, tell family , friends etc because if we do not then they have won and ruined this country I've got 3 kids , oldest being 12 and all of them are aware of the schools, teachers, what they watch infact I get my kids running up to me telling me about an AD on TV saying about diversity, green week again, once there was one saying tell your parents about getting those bulbs changed If people find it hard to tell others on what is going on then I despair at their lazy ass and ignorance
