Imagine if Bush would have declared himself Lord of the Planet to do this unilaterally with any area other than the West Bank and Gaza, particularly one that favored the United States.

He's screwed up here so bad, why should Israel follow him on anything? Do they want their country as screwed up as much as Oboma has screwed up ours?

This could work out very badly.
If the Pali's have a state, then there is a legal entity Israel could war against, and the Pali's wouldn't last long.
Additionally Israel could legally pop anyone who assisted the Pali state.
The Iran oil fields would disappear for sure, and the Saudi fields just might, too.

Obama apparently thinks he is president of Israel. The trouble is, no one elected him to that office, and any attempt to "impose" anything on Israel would basically constitute an act of war.
Not that that would stop liberals from enforcing a final solution. They tried before, in the 1940's, with mixed results.
