I am a former refugee from the Church of Anything Goes err Episcopal Church.

I’ve been a Catholic now for almost three years and couldn’t be happier.

My wife and I have decided that this was the last straw for us as well. We would like to see about coverting to the Catholic Church, but we have some issues that would probably prevent it. (We have both been divorced; I am a Freemason, etc...)

I’m not positive, but the divorces might not be a problem if neither of you were Catholic to begin with.

But yeah, the Freemasonry would be a problem.

If you were both married outside the Catholic Church then the Church wouldn’t consider your prior marriages as valid Church marriages, so no worries about that. The Freemason bit — that’s what would not be allowed.
