They also attended the Saturday evening presentation, and we all agreed that Newt Gingrich has interesting things to say, but we don't trust him in office.

The problem with Gingrich is that, like Romney, he is a politician first, ideologue second. That means they will say whatever they think is best to get them elected rather than cite and defend core principles.

We demand a principled ideologue.

I don’t give money to politicians unless they actually stand up and promote, vote on and introduce pro-gun legislation.

They can talk all they want but, talk is cheap. I’m waiting for a politician with some forged iron stones to introduce legislation either on it’s own or as an amendment to another bill to repeal the Hughes Amendment also known as the machine gun ban. Until then, all politicians are lower than whale poop to me. I’d trust the word of a convicted murderer over any current sitting politician.
