So is our first half-Muslim Miss USA the best contestant - or just the one handpicked by Donald Trump to keep us talking about him, her, and Miss USA, for days?
I have no idea about the worthiness of Rima Fakih, Miss USA 2010, though the exotic brunette showed impressive form in her just resurfaced 07 pole-dancing shots. Oh, my!

"Plus, she's an immigrant!" What a nitwit! What a fossil!
To: ConservativeStatement
She's as muslim as pelosi is Catholic. The skin she's showing, it's media hype about her religion.

What did "Miss Oklahoma" say about the Arizona law?
To: ConservativeStatement
Meanwhile, the right is also struggling to square her prancing about in bikinis and her liberal views with those pesky Muslim stereotypes: all women wear burkas and hate sex.
This woman is out of touch. The jabs by some conservatives against Rina are far outweighed by the disgust expressed at that "false Muslim" and "Shiite whore" I've read on websites frequented by Muslims. And that's just the ones who post in English! I guess Margery can't own up to the reality that some "pesky stereotypes" are actually inconvenient (for liberals) beliefs held by the victims group du jour.

I expect real muslims to start making death threats against her when the Miss Universe Pageant draws near.

Make no mistake. Trump is first and foremost a moneymaker..Just look back at the media circuses which have gone on about the Miss USA winners of the past two or three years..He has learned that controversy gets big attention for him which brings in big bucks. Miss USA, unfortunately, is now lost in the muck of money and politics and will become meaningless like so many of our other institutions have. Remember the Nobel Peace Prize? How many of you still respect and admire that? It was trashed by politics and money, just as this is. If America has any kind of future, it will be the simple folks who rescue her, not the Ivy Leages from New York.

I agree with you..She was not thinking PC..Now she will become the “issue” and Donald Trump will enjoy two controversies coming out of this pageant.

Sir, I would refer you once again to my original verdict of Miss Fakih..."guilty, but extremely hot". My ability to appreciate Miss Fakih's physically attributes in no way diminishes my greatest esteem for Miss Oklahoma. lol
