Without saying it directly, you've come awfully close. It doesn't matter what the message is, as long as it's wallet-wrenching or deadly. As long as the message has such a potential, the unscrupulous elite will put it in heads and on the lips and onto the keyboards of their useful idiots to infect the rest of us, to work the evil intent of those elite.

The only way to fix it is to have various left wing, big government organizations spend billions or trillions of dollars.
They say they have to fix it for our own good. They guilt gullible idiots into voting them. Then they rewrite the rules to take whatever they want from us and spend it however they see fit. It’s the very nature of statism and this very method runs true through every cause du jour whether it’s Global Warming, Health Care, Immigration etc...it’s always the same.
It’s our fault and they’d be able to fix it if they only had more of our money. I’ll never understand why anyone anywhere does not understand this basic truth.
