I wished I’d have known about all this “mis-spoke” thing in high school. Such as when the teacher called on me to answer a question and I answered it wrong. She’d tell me I gave the wrong answer then I’d have said “I’m sorry. I mis-spoke.” If she gave me another chance and I didn’t know the answer I’d have said “I’m sorry. All false war heroes stories grow slowly. From an idea to mental fruition takes years. I have known several over the years. I let them build their stories, then devastate them in a short period of time ... usually with facts that they can’t dispute.

As a vet who has lost bros, I find this something that makes my life and their deaths worth wild.

I served during Viet Nam but only in CONUS...we were ordered to NOT wear our uniforms off base several times. My job required me to wear our Class A uniform off base during my duties. I was spit upon once at a bar and called a f’n airman and have the resultant scars. I earned every medal on my uniform and am proud of them. I spent nights unloading soldiers and airmen off the Nightengales that were coming back from Viet Nam and those men deserved our respect and honor.

Mister Blumenthal neither respects nor admires nor identifies with vets. No! He is ENVIOUS of their respect, so he FAKES being one.

This is jealousy and deceit of the lowest kind.

This is similar to the poseurs who wear uniforms and decorations (e.g. Navy SEALS) even though they have never served.

It's not respect. It's not "identification". It's jealousy and fraud.

On CNN web page(had to peak for another pic of Specter looking like he has just been told he shore has a purty mouth)the story mentions Blumenthal is a Democrat in the fourth paragraph. In the story about Souder, his being a Republican is proclaimed in the fourth WORD.
