Wasn’t so long ago in the US that anything other than the “missionary position” was considered gross and unnatural, and subject to criminal penalties in many states.
In Uganda, in additional to execution, the proposed law would also have had severe penalties for people failing to report gays, including family members. Unless you approve these Nazi/Communist type laws, then the standard should be whether the acts are done by consenting adults in private and nothing else.
