I don’t think it’s mutating at all. I found this genealogical Romney factoid long ago and have always thought that the BO and handlers copied Mitt’s daddy. That’s why we are in this fix today.

After all the money and effort the Bamtard has spent keeping his supposed Hawaiian birth certificate out of the public view, you still don’t suspect he has a reason for hiding it?
Why would he go to all that trouble when he could make so many enemies look ridiculous just by releasing it? If, of course, it’s on the up-and-up. Instead, he has reportedly spent in the neighborhood of a million simoleons on attorney fees.
Those are not the actions of a man with nothing to hide.
