Global Cooling Is Coming -- and Beware the Big Chill, Scientist Warns
Contrary to the commonly held scientific conclusion that the Earth is getting warmer, a scientist who has written more than 150 peer-reviewed papers has unveiled evidence for his prediction that global cooling is coming soon.
The hottest new trend in climate change may be global cooling, some researchers say.
Contrary to the commonly held scientific conclusion that the Earth is getting warmer, Dr. Don Easterbrook, emeritus professor of geology at Western Washington University and author of more than 150 peer-reviewed papers, has unveiled evidence for his prediction that global cooling is coming soon.
“Rather than global warming at a rate of 1 F per decade, records of past natural cycles indicate there may be global cooling for the first few decades of the 21st century to about 2030,” said Easterbrook, speaking on a scientific panel discussion with other climatologists. This, he says, will likely be followed by “global warming from about 2030 to 2060,” which will then be followed by another cooling spell from 2060 to 2090.

How about this - it will either warm, cool or stay the same over the next X years. At some point, a trend will form that we’ll recognize, perhaps only after the fact. In the short term, it will look mostly like fluctuation around the mean.

I used to be mean but I saw very little fluctuation around me.
Indeed, I rarely even take today’s weather report seriously. The most accurate, up-to-date weather report is what you get when you stick your head out the window. As for climate, that’s what you get after observing the weather over a long period. If something like an asteroid or a volcano throws up a huge amount of dust and causes mass extinctions, etc, chances are I’ll be too busy to care about the um “climate”.
What we need is a mile thick glacier to push DC into the ocean!

Are these so-called ‘scientist’ the same people were calling for ‘global warming”? If so I wonder how they think anyone can take such idiots seriously.

And old farmer died who was universally disliked. At the funeral they wanted someone to say something, anything, nice about him. There was a long, awkward silence. Finally someone piped up - “Waalll - he weren’t as mean sometimes as he were most of the time”.
Texas will add 100+ miles to it’s incredibly fertile coastal plain. Same for Louisiana, Alabama, Florida, et al.
