There is not one bill that the democrats are in favor of that I would support. Everything the democrats are in favor of ,I suspect is another way to screw me and the American taxpayers. And enrich the democrats and their power base. The democrats are truly evil as a whole!
And Sen Dodd has to be one of the most corrupt politician up on the hill. And considering all the democrats, that is saying a lot! Dodd is probably responsible more for this financial crisis than any other living human being!

Dodd caused the meltdown...now he's helping to spear-head the socialist reform bill?
DISGUSTING!

Misleading headline. Vote hangs on 2 dems going home. Both RINOS all ready voted for it
Sens. Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe, both Republicans from Maine, voted for cloture, and 3 Democrats -- Sens. Maria Cantwell, D-Wash.; Russell Feingold, D-Wis.; and Harry Reid, D-Nev. -- voted against cloture. Reid voted against the motion so that he would have standing to ask that the motion be reconsidered.

If they change the bill to please Feingold and Cantwell, I’m thinkiing that Snowe-Collins might back out.

Looks like the next vote is in a little over 3 hours.
I believe the markets are waiting on the outcome.

Because the Mods tend to frown on dishonest modified headlines posted by Newbies who, oddly, just happen to know otherwise how to post in this forum perfectly.

Remember when Henry Waxman added a ban on health food supplements and vitamins to this bill?
Does anyone know if this ban is in the Senate version of this bill?
