Unfortunately, when there was an intelligence failure that became evident after 9/11 (and that was not Bush’s fault), instead of trying to fix the problems within the various agencies, Bush simply installed another layer of bureaucracy on top. And then put another layer on top of that.
Obviously, that isn’t the way to fix the problem.
The CIA was filled with flaming liberals, who later continually leaked national secrets to the press and undermined the president. The FBI was filled with clintonoids, and Bush’s appointee simply promoted them even further. Airport security was unionized.
I don’t know whether Dennis Blair was any good or not. With Obama & Company in charge, he was pretty well bound to fail. But there are serious problems, and they certainly won’t get fixed with Obama, Holder, Clinton, Napolitano, Pelosi, and Reid in charge of things. Bush missed a big opportunity. It would have been the devil’s own job to fix it, but he should have at least tried.

IOW, you won’t find “The Buck Stops Here” on the Oval Office desk.
And once again, ABC carries Obama’s water, trying to provide an alibi...it’s an enormous challenge, but hey, he’s paid to stop this kind of crap. See ya, chump!
Yet Bush was blamed for everything...and still is.

Sorry, but Blair is truly a feckless bureaucrat. A member of the Admirals cabal that have made their way to leadership roles, he is another example of why no retired Admiral should be given a civilian job of importance. And that goes for Joe Sestak.

Admiral Blair, avoid Ft Marcy Park, canoeing on the Potomac, and hotel rooms with high balconies.
And the Chicago River. See: Michael W Scott.

The real news will be who replaces the guy... $10 says the replacement doesn't eat pork and has never attended a bar mitzvah.

This is a post designed specifically for a retired lesbian military officer.
This is all about making the military do Obama's "personal" bidding, just like good old Uncle Adolf did.Obama is whittling away at ALL of the checks and balances to his power.

On the heels of a number of intelligence failures involving the Fort Hood shooter, failed Christmas Day bomber Umar Farouq Abdulmuttalab, and questions about failed Times Square bomber Faisal Shahzad, it was no longer clear that Blair -- tasked with coordinating the 16 intelligence agencies and ensuring that they cooperate and share information still had the full and complete confidence of the president, sources say.
All those "failures" are probably due to a directive by Obama not to take into account anything having to do with Islam, even in deciding where to start to look for possible trouble.
