SCOTUS in the Heller case said the DC gun ban was unconstitutional. So now the DC City Council is taking as long as it can to implement registration regulations.
Back in ‘68 a friend owned a liquor store in the worst affected corridor of DC during the riots following the King assassination. Said friend was a very serious hunter. He took his weapons to his store, sat behind the counter all weekend with his very obvious rifle aimed at the front door. Nary a scratch to his premises.
