Biggest criminals are the govt along with Fred and Fannie allowing and encouraging everyone and his uncle to qualify for a loan for a house. Do you think everyone that applies for a credit card should get one? The govt and it’s policies are the most culpable in this mess. Folks like Dodd and Frank who helped craft the policies and benefited by them should be prosecuted in my view.
We could include Harvard Business School for educating the crooks.
I have sympathy for the women's loss of a son and question the stupidity of the lady calling her....
But no one is asking why BOA resold her mortgage 3 times.
This repacking of Mortgages and not having banks hold them do to the risk vis-a-ve the CRA and Fannie and Freddie is never mentioned.
Perhaps if it was 20% down 30 yr fixed and not all these exotic mortgage's would she be in this dilemma? I cannot say that would have made her situation less painful., I do not know her or her finances. But one may ask this or is that now verboten...
