Yep, makes sense... if a group of folks showed up at my door, banging and clamoring, I cannot wait to see if they mean me bodily harm, I get my gun, call the police, and stand ready to shoot... if I think they may be trying to enter, I shoot, bastard is dead, I defend my action... tell me a jury is going to convict me of homicide.
I won't tell you that, but keep in mind that a leftist anti gun prosecutor and the political police chief and command structure will gladly suborn perjury from their leftist comrades. There will be no record of the thugs shouting "we're gonna burn your wife and kids", and they all will remember you shouting "die you (insert several racial epithets here)" you need evidence the jury can see, and that remote server out of reach of the police.
