I know plenty of roofers I wouldn’t want around either...Agreed. But they don't typically wear robes, and aren't as likely to fall off your roof. And they might have insurance.

I’ve had pretty good experiences with roofers and most tradesmen. The only really bad time I had was with some tree butchers. Con men, really. The work didn’t get done and at the end I kept a loaded shotgun handy.
