Top Official Says Feds May Not Process Illegals Referred From Arizona
Fox News ^ | May 21, 2010 | Fox News

A top Department of Homeland Security official reportedly said his agency will not necessarily process illegal immigrants referred to them by Arizona authorities.

John Morton, assistant secretary of homeland security for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, made the comment during a meeting on Wednesday with the editorial board of the Chicago Tribune, the newspaper reports. "I don't think the Arizona law, or laws like it, are the solution," Morton told the newspaper. The best way to reduce illegal immigration is through a comprehensive federal approach, he said, and not a patchwork of state laws. The law, which criminalizes being in the state illegally and requires authorities to check suspects for immigration status, is not "good government," Morton said.

From HLS "John Morton to Lead Immigration and Customs Enforcement; Secretary Napolitano Names Esther Olavarria as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Policy"

From the site

John Morton and Esther Olavarria are tremendous additions to our Homeland Security team. Both have demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to public service and both will be able and effective partners as we tackle the very complex issues surrounding immigration and securing of our borders,” Secretary Napolitano said.

These people are FOS.

Megyn asked if this was the first we’ve heard of this, and I sent an email to her telling her, no it’s not the first time. Al Sharpton recommended this inaction when he was in Phoenix making a speech about SB 1070. I wonder if she read it on the air?

the solution is simple

Take them to the border crossing and point a gun. Flee or die

Or perhaps, Carry them out in the desert and drive the bus into Mexicoand force them off the bus and return it ti USA.

Who gives a rat’s ass about violating Mexican territory.

I am convinced the only reason for illegal immigration is for votes for the democrat party. Other parties may try to take advantage such as businesses and bureaucrats but that is only a sideshow used for cover for the real purpose of stuffing the democrat ballot box. I wondered if there would ever come a day when the leftists would finally feel powerful enough to just come out and say “we don’t have to follow any laws, everyone must obey us”. I don’t recognize this country anymore.

“Arizona should secede”

You know what? That exact thought crossed my mind when this broke this afternoon on Fox. Megyn kelly said if they had not confirmed it themselves, she would not have believed it.
I watched a fisherman in Louisiana in tears begging, pleading for the president of the United States of AMERICA to DO something to help Louisiana.
This is outrageous. ALL of it. Every state who has paid tax dollars to this government and which are being blatantly dissed and ignored because they have responsible governors, should threaten to secede, and NONE of them should process anymore federal tax dollars to this pos government...period!

This is insanity. Our federal government is declaring war on the citizens.

It's called willful malfeasance.

"–nounLaw.

the performance by a public official of an act that is legally unjustified, harmful, or contrary to law; wrongdoing (used esp. of an act in violation of a public trust).Compare misfeasance (def. 2), nonfeasance."

Jan Brewer needs to come forth, loudly,

and state exactly that this law wouldn’t have been necessary

if the federal government were doing its Constitutionally mandated duties instead of everything the Constitution says it may not do.

What about Nashville? They just went through a “1000 year flood”..a catastrophe—Obama has not set foot in the place.

The citizens, led by the CHURCHES—are pulling themselves back together. Obama calculated he’d never win such a conservative state, so he doesn’t cast them a crumb of attention.
