Is Tea Brewing In Colorado?
IBD's Capital Hill ^ | 5/21/2010 | David Hogberg

Kentucky may not be the only state where a Tea Party candidate upsets the establishment GOP candidate. In Colorado straw polls held in March, Republican voters gave a narrow edge to Tea Party favorite and prosecutor Ken Buck over former Lt. Gov. Jane Norton in the race for the GOP nomination for U.S. Senate. Tea Partyers don’t trust Norton because her brother-in-law, Charlie Black, advised the 2008 McCain campaign and is a powerful Washington lobbyist.

I disagree. In my experience, lobbyists are more honorable than the people they lobby.

Maybe AZ & CO, UT and ID need to secede from the Union and form a sane nation?

The Tea Party wants to send a message to the Country Club RINOs (suck ups to Liberals) that they’re TOAST.

Yep. That’s why I didn’t bother to post any photos from this years Tax-Day Tea Party in Colorado Springs.

The smell of RINO dung was wafting through the air...

I’ve heard of suffering for the “sins of the father” but now, we have to pay the price for the “sins of the brother-in-law”. That’s a little much. HOWEVER, not knowing either candidate, I’d go with the Tea Party endorsement.

You might want to do a little more research before you include Colorado in that list; they’ve become quite Liberal in the past decade.

Certainly Denver has tilted left, but Co Springs and some of the other outlying areas are still relatively American.

But, if you are talking about the whole state being conservative, you are right...there are actually none. Even AZ has Tempe which is so kooky left due to AZ State U. Universities have become a bastion of left wing brainwashing, rather than learning. Isn’t a “Uni” versity that teaches “Di” versity an oxymoron (heavy on the moron)? Amazing that we fund these training camps.
